Review: Pointless
Pointless movie full of your standard Hollywood clichés. Good guys (American) win, bad guys (Russian) lose. What I particularly didn't like is that the movie perpetuates the paranoia that there's a conspiracy of spies and terrorists (Russian this time, for a change) that has long term plans against the US, and plants sleeper cells in the American society years. Absolutely skip it. – MrU

Angelina Jolie
Review: a straightforward action movie
Salt is a straightforward action movie that doesn't waste anytime with useless dialogue and character development, but instead, takes us on a rollercoaster ride from start to finish. Angelina Jolie plays a CIA agent who is accused by a defector of being a Russian spy. She goes on the run, and you can probably guess the rest. I don't usually have a problem watching a fast-paced action movie as long as it's fun. And "Salt" is fun to watch, but it gets sillier and sillier as we move along, until it reaches an unsatisfying conclusion. Nevertheless, it's still entirely watchable, and certainly an entertaining summer flick. – Anis Tabet
