The Avengers actors assembles on the Comic-Con stage, announced by Samuel L. Jackson:

  • Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury.
  • Clark Gregg as Agent Coulson.
  • Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow.
  • Chris Hemsworth as Thor.
  • Chris Evans as Captain America.
  • Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man.
  • Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye.
  • Mark Ruffallo as The Hulk.
  • Joss Whedon as The Director.

Edward Norton Is Not Avengers Hulk

The details are about as murky right now as those trippy, drugged-out, hallucinogenic visions in Ang Lee’s Hulk movie, but apparently Edward Norton will not be playing Bruce Banner/the Hulk in The Avengers movie after playing the character in The Incredible Hulk back in 2008, although he we would like to be.

Norton wants to reprise his Hulk character — especially in with Joss Whedon directing and Robert Downey Jr. starring as Tony Stark/Iron Man — but inside sources report that Marvel has pushed him out of the way. The likely culprit? Economic reasons. The company has decided that they are going to cast "an unknown" to play Bruce Banner and The Hulk in the film. Source

Unconfirmed reports have KickAssAaron Johnson wearing the Cyclops visor in Matthew Vaughn’s X-Men: First Class.

Last week we reported that Alice Eve (She’s Out of My League, Sex and the City 2) had been cast as Emma Frost, and now it is reported that actor Aaron Johnson has been cast to play the future X-Men leader Scott Summers/Cyclops. Sony Pictures selects Andrew Garfield as the new Spiderman

Andrew Garfield After a comprehensive worldwide casting search, Andrew Garfield has been chosen to portray Peter Parker when Spiderman swings back onto the screen in 3D on July 3, 2012. The new film will begin production in early December directed by Marc Webb from a screenplay by James Vanderbilt.
