Le capitaine Von Munck est envoyé dans une petite
ville à la nouvelle frontière entre la Finlande et la
Russie. Il y tombe amoureux d’une enseignante,
qui est fiancée en secret à un fugitif de l’armée
rouge révolutionnaire finlandaise. Quand le village
déborde de centaines de personnes fuyant le
nettoyage russe, Von Munck doit décider qui sera
autorisé à passer la frontière.
1918, Springtime. The end of the Finnish Civil
War. Captain Von Munck is sent to a small town
at the newly demarcated border between Finland
and Russia. He falls in love with a local teacher,
clandestinely engaged to a fugitive Finnish Red
Army Revolutionary. When the village gets flooded
with hundreds of people fleeing from Russian
cleansing, Von Munck will have to decide on who
is allowed to cross the border
